FX Alliance IPO watch

FX Alliance IPO watch: The foreign exchange trading platform provider FX Alliance Inc. (referred to as “FXall”) announced its IPO price range of $13.5-$14.5. It plans to sell 5.20 million shares, finance $75 million and land on the NYSE with the ticker symbol “FX”. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and JP Morgan will serve as the joint underwriters of the FX Alliance IPO. Read the latest post about the FX Alliance IPO price.

FX Alliance submitted the IPO application to the U.S. SEC on September 20, 2011, intending to raise $100 million. FX Alliance is headquartered in New York, and was founded by several Wall Street banks in 2001. It provides the global investors with foreign exchange trading technology solutions. In 2006, the private equity firm Technology Crossover Ventures acquired a small amount of FX Alliance’ shares at the price of $77.5 million.
