High dividend stocks: These investment companies yield highly

There was a group of high dividend stocks among investment companies declared quarterly distributions on Tuesday.

The first of the high dividend stocks came in our sight was American Capital Mortgage Investment Crp (MTGE). The company engages in investing in and managing a leveraged portfolio of agency mortgage investments, non-agency mortgage investments and other mortgage-related investments. The company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.90 per share, which will be made on October 26, with ex-date, September 19. MTGE stock price moved up 1.56% to $25.47. Based on the latest closing price, the company sports a high dividend yield of 14.13%.

Another big dividend payer on Tuesday was American Capital Agency Corp. (AGNC). The real estate investment trust (REIT) primarily investing on a leveraged basis in agency mortgage-backed securities decided to pay a quarterly distribution of $1.25 per share to shareholders on October 26, with ex-date September 19. AGNC stock price edged up 0.62%, to $35.66. In accordance to the latest AGNC stock price, American Capital Agency strongly yields at 14.02%.

CYS is also one of the high dividend stocks decided to reward its shareholders. CYS Investments Inc (CYS) is a finance company invests in Agency residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) adjustable-rate mortgage loans (ARMs), or hybrid ARMs and thereafter resets at regular intervals. CYS Investments plans to pay a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share to the shareholders on October 17, with ex-date, September 24. Calculating by the latest CYS stock price of $14.60, the company pays out at a big yield of 14.02%.

Another investment company Capstead Mortgage Corporation (CMO) will also pay a quarterly dividend of $0.36 per share to shareholders on Octerber 19, with ex-date, September 26. The company rewards investors at a yield of 10.03% on the basis of the latest CMO stock price of $13.12. Capstead Mortgage Corporation operates as a self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT) investing in a leveraged portfolio of residential mortgage pass-through securities.

One Liberty Properties, Inc. (OLP) and Agree Realty Corporation (ADC) pay dividends at a yield of 6.79% and 6.32%, respectively. Both of the investment companies declared a quarterly dividend on Tuesday; the former will pay out $0.33 per share on October 4, with ex-date, September 21 and the latter will return cash of $0.40 per share to shareholders on October 9, with ex-date, September 26.
