Italian 10-year Treasury note rose to 5.85%

According to the new of Reuters, Italian 10-year Treasury note yield rose to 5.84% in Friday’s auction, up 60 basis points compared to the he similar bond auction in March. Italian auctioned 10-year Treasury notes with a yield of 5.24%. Friday auction subscription rate was 1.48 times, lower than 1.65 times in March.

The previous Spanish rating downgrade increased the market concerns about debts of the weak nations in the euro zone.

Italy auctioned 5.95 billion euros of treasury notes, close to the ceiling of the $3.75-$6.25 billion euros target.
