Apple has appointed the former Microsoft product marketing manager Robin Burrowes as the European marketing director of iTunes and the App Store.
Burrowes worked at Microsoft for seven years and served as the Microsoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region marketing manager for Xbox Live, in addition, he also worked for MSN for a period of time.
The Burrowes’ LinkedIn profile information displays that he joined Apple in January of this year, helping Apple to promote iTunes and App Store throughout Europe.
Besides Burrowes, the former Nintendo public relations executive Robert Sanders and the former EA and Xbox public relations manager Nick Grange have joined Apple.
