U.S. market research company comScore’s latest report showed that the U.S. unique user traffic of the image social networking site Pinterest surged 4,377%, ranking first of all the major social networking sites across the nation.
According to the data of comScore, in May this year, unique users who visiting social networking sites across the nation grew by 6% as a whole. Twitter grew by 58%, LinkedIn increased by 67%; Tumblr added 168%. Despite Facebook (FB) was up 4%, the time users stay on this site far exceeded the other Web sites.
ComScore also assessed the purchasing power of the users of the major social networking sites. LinkedIn (LNKD) is ranked number-one in user purchasing power, but Pinterest is actually one of the several social networking sites with the largest spendings of users.
